Hercules Automatic Drum Handler

This drum forklift attachment is designed for the heavy-duty loading, handling, and stacking of steel drums. One person can lift, transfer and deposit steel drums without leaving the forklift. Drum handlers slide onto forks and are secured by turn-down bolts. Heavy-duty drum lifter features spring and cam actuated jaws that automatically grip when engaging the drum and release when lowering it. Strong steel shaft lets gripping arms work parallel to each other for better operator control and steady drum placement. Fork pockets measure 6-3/8"W x 2"H and are 26" center to center. Economical Herc-U-Grab® model is perfect for low-volume drum handling jobs. 1/2" x 2-1/2" lifting arms automatically grasp drums by utilizing a unique knuckle-gripping system and the natural pressure of a loaded drum. Also includes retaining chain.

One person can lift and pour heavy drums without leaving the driver’s seat with this drum handler and dumper. Offers dependable, controlled pouring without hydraulics—20'L chain with 10' drop is used to manipulate drums. Saddle has spring-loaded pawl on hinged steel plate which snaps between drum chimes. Handles 22-1/2" dia., 55-gallon drums. Optional attachment adjusts saddle to fit 19-1/2" dia., 30-gallon drums. 6-1/2"W x 26-5/8"D x 2-1/2"H, spaced 24-1/2", attach to forklift quickly and easily. Width between forks must be a minimum of 24-1/2".
